Found a TDI

Back to Back to Back, Chev Ford and Dodge

My question is KORE going to develop a performance lift kit for this thing?! :)

As some may have guessed, this truck is quite the thing with hollywood celebs right now. This is probably also a good indication of how usefull err... less this thing really is.

Cool to look at though.

Ford =====

Comon everyone... ... . Say it together! FORD means "Fix Or Repair Daily". Had a FORD... Never go there again. Love my Dodge. In fact isnt this a Dodge web site?

i have a ford f650 crewcab with a flatbed,2000 model. i use it as my everyday pickup. i'm in the junk bidness and it comes in handy with the flatbed. i took the 3126 cat and allison out and put in an 8. 3 cummins and 10 speed roadranger and a aux. 3 speed transmission behind that. 30 possible forward gears and 6 in reverse. 5'' chrome stack too!aluim. 22. 5 wheels too. .

The owner actually uses it regularly hauling heavy equipment for his business. Granted the dumptrucks he used to haul the equipment with worked pretty good too, but now he can watch a dvd while hauling his loaders etc.

That's a scary thought!

Say what you want about it's practicability, but driving that beast felt really good. And if you're into feeling macho, front and rear locking diffs, adjustable suspension, air brakes and the train horn were pretty tough too.

On the inside of the truck he had three dvd players, navigation system, speakers galore and a camera in the rear for backing up.

i drive it every day

i own a 2004 f 650 with a alison transmission and a CUMMINS !mine is not 4x4 and it is a dually, bought it brand new from north county ford in california. recently installed 100 hp edm's and 6 inch stacks, new turbo is on the way. but anyways i drive it every day back and forth to work and it is awesome. has all the options of a top of the line cadillac

I saw one at a car show here last summer in Austin (Texas Heat Wave Car Show), an F-750 with a lift, and it honestly looked great. . Don't know what the sticker was. Rumor had it that it was somewhere around the vicinity of $114k. Think about that. . you could roll down to the coast, and tell everyone to part the way. With a Marmon-Herrington All Wheel Drive, That thing is bulletproof! I would love one, but only with a RTLO14713 transmission (super 13) Double Overdrive transmission.

Welcome to the TDR- I see you have broken 20 posts. You will learn that alot of us on the TDR are not biased when it comes to brands. Also, alot of people go to other websites where it is strictly fords, and such. I used to be the same way, but then I realized there is no point bickering about whose brand is better. It's all about BRAND DIESEL!

I have also heard that these mammoths are getting popular with the yuppies in Hollywood.

Why would a bunch of green peace, tree huggers drive something that gets 8 mpg???

... because they can LoL...

If I won the lotto, I would order one of those, a CXT, and also order a Pete 379 Extended Hood with a 2L Truck bed on it, to pull a matching Bloomer 3 Horse Trailer, with a 16' Shortwall. .

Please take note of this Santa. hehe

Ya think someone is trying to use something big to compensate for something else? :-laf

I don't get it , our trucks are big enough as it is . Heck my dually is a pain in the rear to park at some shopping centers with all those compact parking spaces. Overkill IMO.

Just a 3 horse???? With a truck that big, go for a 6 horse, 16' shortwall with a midtack! Oh yeah, and don't forget to get the cowhide wallpaper! I love bloomers!

better hope Kent doesent hear you call his suspension a "lift kit"!!! :-laf

I would love to have an F-650 with the cummins. We regularly tow in excess of 20K and while the trucks we have pull them fine, they dont stop them quite so good. Plus the trucks we haul with also have to be our drivers, 4-wheel drive is a necessity, and 2 of our trailers are pintle hitch, so that truck would be perfect. Everything has its place. Id take one over a CXT any day personally. I drove one of those and wasnt impressed.
