Upgrades after JUICE & Exhaust?

Is auto of stick, i would thing it a stick as it has and e-brake, it makes a difference on the modifications. An EZ and RV275 is about the limit on stock auto and to much for some, and that close to where you wanting to be.

A Comp is to much for a stock auto if you tap the wire,

Congrats on your new ride. You should think about posting in the 2nd generation forum. There are a lot of people that can help you with your questions.

Congrats again, enjoy the ride!!

Intake and exhaust mods should be your first. Uncorking the truck is a definite improvement help turbo breath by removing restricted airbox and plugged up exhaust system

If you have an auto transmission & a banks brake does it have a smart controller to lock the torque converter up? If not you can toast your transmission with that exhaust brake.

Heres another site you may want to do some reading in the forum.

Welcome to the TDR :) You can learn alot here. I would say if the Auto trany is stock i would think about upgradeing before you add more power. Its good to have Gauges fuel pressure/boost and i think you said you had an EGT. I have been trying to get gauges i will upgrade my trany before i add any power boxes. The exhaust brakes have been known to wear out and break a stock auto . The load of the brakeing can snap a stock input shaft when i upgrade my trany i will go with a DTT with a Billet input shaft. DMagnoli,

Welcome and congrats on joining the CTD world. I know that I will never go back to the gasser world ever again :).

You will get a lot of personal thoughts on this subject as well as the "who has the best transmission", but IMHO, First thing start saving for a complete DTT trans. Next install Fuel Pressure/EGT/Pyro gauges. As for performance, pull the Banks and install an EZ and 275 Stage II injectors with a 4" Exhaust . . no silencer.
