I am buying a snow blower this year... With a corner house my back kills me when I get done. Sears is having a sale on a Craftsman 9 hp thats regular priced at $899 for $699 any thoughts. JB

Yea, I'm glad I live in the desert. We don't even have lawn mowers around here.

You couldn't GIVE me a Craftsman anything! Go find yourself a USED Ariens and you're way ahead of the game! My Ariens was built in 1975 and has never let me down, I have to overhaul the carb this year and I did put new tires on it last year. It has STEEL and IRON where the Craftsman is aluminum (auger gear drive box). Don't get me wrong, I will buy Craftsman hand tools but if it's got an engine or a plug my standards are higher. The last straw was when a friend asked if he could borrow my Craftsman circular saw because his had just caught fire while he was using it, I sais sure as soon as I'm done with it... ... ... it burst into flames before I was done with my project, SAME MODEL AS HIS. IMHO Craftsman power tools (gas and electric) =JUNK!
