I finally passed 10K on a 500 mile trip and I swear this thing has more power now. We flew over Snoquolomie pass at 65 with the camper watered down and a 16' cargo trailer full to the ceiling with quads and firewood.

I wouldn't trade this truck for anything, it handled the load great, drove good even with high winds all the way and sounds awesome. People say they expect to see a semi round the corner when I pull up, bet no one says that to a F**D owner.

It was just an all around good trip so I figured I'd share a good story. I said it once and I'll say it again- I LOVE MY TRUCK!

The only time I ever plan to put gas in a truck that I own is if I'm getting it in a can for the mower. #ad

I wonder if the neighbors still get upset when I shine the spot light on it at 3:00AM from the bedroom window??????? #ad

I also have a 94 4X4 360 gasser but it has 214K on it and a 96 3500 diesel with 195K. I guess you could say I'm sort of hooked on both. My wife drives ths 1500 and the diesel mine. They both go every day.

I'm with you, brother. I am a loooong time Ford guy but bought my truck because I think it's one of the best looking trucks on the road and I love the Cummins diesel. I love driving this truck and I believe this may be the one truck I hang onto long term, I also have a habit of changing vehicles often!
