Guns, Bows, Shooting Sports, and Hunting New Poker Getting Outfitted

Road trip radio

Well I never really left the forum. just kind of left life for a very short time. I took my faithful 96 ram 2500 of the road last year sometime following the purchase of a slightly used '13 Dodge Charger R/T with AWD. I just parked the old ram in the driveway and eventually made a deal with my GF that I would get the old RAM running or get rid of it bya certain date. Sadly that date came and went many months ago. You may be wondering why. well the simple answer is I Died. I was crossing the street and wham I got run over. by a FORD of all vehicles. Flew 100 feet and landed in a roadside culvert. Off to the ER with a trashed left side and went into a coma for a few weeks. Coded out on the OP table and had to be resuscitated. The US Marine in me refused to stay dead and I came back. not as good as I was but back none the less. Now after all that you figure my GF would cut me some some slack but noooooo. I still got it but its gonna have to go soon. or so she says lol. It's very nice to be able to say hello to everyone

Quite the story, glad to hear you survived and recovering as well as you can. Can't keep a good marine down. Welcome back

Dave

Welcome back. Very happy to hear that you made it through such a difficult situation.

As far as the truck is concerned......well, I'd drop the GF and keep the truck. But that's just me. :D

Kenny, so taken back on this story. Glad you're able to be getting around- the Charger towing a bike trailer tells me you're able to live a bit more than just breathe. Whatever you do, DONT get rid of the truck unless it's absolutely necessary! Pretty sure I can promise you'll not find another easily if you rebound. IIRC, you're in/near Westchester, need a hand with it? What's wrong with it?

Wow I am glad you made it through that ordeal, I hope you damaged that Ford as well!

Take care Marine and thank you for your service!!

Wow, another one bites it (BIG and you). It's getting dangerous out there. I'm with jgillott. If you want to keep the truck, keep it. You can find another GF.

Much like my truck my gf has been completely reliable. Stayed by my bedside everyday when I was in a coma and then some. She's earned the title of my last gf ever!
