Guys can you get a ticket for a yellow clearance light being out on the starboard side of the camper I have a yellow marker light out its about six feet high next to the pinbox it also blinks to signal a right turn????

I hope they should have a couple of these lights for me tomorrow.

Stewart,

Shouldn't have to worry about getting a ticket for a clearance light out. Did you actually see it work? You can give it quick test... pop your hood and touch briefly touch one lead to one battery terminal and the other lead to the other battery terminal... if no light, reverse leads, if still no light, it's bad. If it does light, you have a connection issue on your RV.

Cheers, Ron

It was working fine and was bright but I guess with any new RV you will have some stuff go bad I just hope when I hook the fifty amp plug to the camping site later today that the AC works lol its going to be 94 degrees later today I will hookup later in the day maybe about 6pm Selma North Carolina time which is where I am staying.

I can't believe it guys we have Lift-Off we are in the RV connected to the water and connected to the electric the 50 amp service here in Selma North Carolina everything has not gone as planned however everything's okay everything seems to be working all the water seems to work everything seems to be okay and the jayco North point so little encouragement yeah we're out here in Selma North Carolina next to i-95 and US highway 70 and this is it baby alright hope everybody's well thanks Stewart.

Well the only problem was a small leak from the toilet and I dumped the waste at the RV dump station and all I can say is AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Fuuuuuudddgggggg.

It was pretty bad but at least it dumped lol.

Well the Dodge is getting 16.5 mpg without the RV is that pretty good MPG for a 9000 pound dually guys?????

Remember my truck has a 4.10 rear guys and that is at 75 mph.

The Jayco is cake for a 4.10 equipped 1000 pound touque Cummins in my opinion.

I will do a side by side test with both of you anytime. We all fill trucks to top. We all drive 300 miles we all stop and fill to the top. I guarantee at 70mph none of us will get 16.5mpg hand calc. I’m even talking flat sea level test.

14.5 will be more like it!

I hand calc all the time. It’s pretty consistent. Just did 800 highway miles yesterday. I got 17.2-17.7 running empty at 75 mph cruise control as much as possible.

Take it for what it is. Literally, your mileage may vary.

Dang, my brakes must be dragging. I can't get that down hill with a tail wind.

Must be due to to TH and ALT all the time;););)

TH does hurt mileage empty. I’ve done several back to back comparisons and it’s always lower in TH and empty .

Now this is from the Lie-O-Meter, but I just drove from Vegas to Phoenix and back. Mine has the 3:73 diff, and I got 18.4 going and 18.6 returning. I'd say my average speed was 70MPH. I can hand calc but not important enough for me to bother, I'll report my average, hand calculated, at 5K miles.

I waved when you went through Wickenburg, did you see me???
I am at about 3200 miles, and hoping mine loosens up some.

LMAO, ya that was you? You were in the Ford, right? :D
I went through early on Saturday and early this morning. Hopefully the Shell station on the SE end of town has fresh Diesel. o_O

Yeah, that was me in my Model A pickup pulling my toyhauler.:D

If you need fuel in town, take a couple minutes hit the Maverik on the Westbound side of US 60 at Mariposa Drive. They pump A LOT of fuel. Both Shell stations are generally high priced, and the smaller one, we call "the far Shell" has had a reputation for credit cards getting swiped. Haven't heard much about it lately, but I don't go there anymore. There is also a 76 station on the Eastbound side of US 60. None have DEF at the pump.

Because of the theft of CC's, BTW my Chevron CC was hit in Vegas in 2012, I only use Brand CC's incase of fraud. NEVER use an ATM card and put in your pin number. If I must use my ATM card at the pumps, I always elect credit instead of ATM, that way they don't have info to your bank account and clean you out. If your pin was used for fuel at the pumps and someone gets into your account, you can be liable for the amounts.

I hate to say this but I always ride empty in the non tow hall setting and I still would argue that the truck rides way worse in the Alt Ride Height setting I have tested it both ways and it bounces way worse in the ALT ride setting its not even close maybe thats because of the Andersen or some other factor,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,but I have really tried to work with the ALT and it just is horrible.
Maybe its because of the Air Ride pinbox and the Air Ride truck.
