Lately I've been forgetting the learning part and feeling a little too human at times...I also thought that till some stuff happened.
I just say distraction.
We are all human after all.

I pin it open every time. If I can’t remember to close my hitch, and check it, before leaving I probably shouldn’t be towing on the road anymore. Just sayin...
Not sure why you would pin it open but the only drops are a couple that were not used to the hitch and previously had hitches that latch when backed into.
I’m not sure.....to be honest. It doesn’t say anywhere on the title.41 ' ?
I guess any adjustment is done here....but I’m not sure there’s THAT much adjustment left. It wasn’t my RV.....and it pulled great the entire trip.I know it would not be worth doing any adjustments but it's amazing how many people would hook and go and not think there is anything wrong with the setup! I am betting front axle is 1,000# heavier than the rear.
YES the B&W is damn near idiot proof! One thing that leads to dropping a B&W is pinning the handle open, NEVER and I mean NEVER do that!
I NEVER do a pull test as all that is needed is to do a VISUAL test. Kingpin and hitch plates touching Check, handle closed pinned and locked check, 1" thick jaws are closed around king pin check, now get in and drive away.
The B&W Flatbed base has no adjustment unlike the Regular pickup base or the puck system base. For that 5ver and truck combination its only through the pin box.
I’ve not said anything yet......just been waiting for comments to see if anyone noticed anything odd in either of those pictures.
