I miss my 1st gen!!!

so my buddy comes by in his '93 x-cab D350... I bought my '91. 5 D250 from him and then sold it back to him later...



he came by to check out my '97, to show me his '93, and to have me turn up the fuel a little bit for him



cranked the smoke screw and gave a little more full fuel...



man, being up under that hood sure made me miss my 1st gen... so much room!!!



he, on the other hand, left saying, "man, I need to get something like this" about my truck after I took him for a spin in it



so yeah... I miss my 1st gen... definately don't miss the cramped interior (mine was a single cab) but I miss the room under the hood and the "so ugly it's pretty" styling!

I drive my step dad's 97 on occassion and really love the extra room in the cab, but soon as I have to do something under the hood, I wonder what those engineers were thinking about.



Yes... . automotive engineers. I can only hope there's a special level in Hell for them!!
