Service manager called this morning. A new truck owner didn't want the towing mirrors and the dealer has had mine on order for a while. Wanted to know if I would swap. Took me about . 0003 milliseconds to make that decision. Cost me a little for swapout labor and I have a set of heated electric tow mirrors!

I had the non-power towing mirrors on my 01. 5. Getting the power version was one of my reasons for buying the new truck. The other reason was Sirius radio. Let's see, $7000 for the mirrors and $7000 for the radio. What a bargin.

My dealer did the same for me

I bought my 03 without the towing mirrors, asked the dealer to put some on but they did not have any in stock. Someone did not want towing mirrors and we did a swap. Cost me a little for labor also. I can't believe Dodge would put a non towing mirror on a quad cab dually. If you make a dually truck, it should come with towing mirrors.

I think I can beat that, last weekend I met a guy w/an 03 dually that didn't get a trailer hitch. Unfortunately for him, he didn't notice till he got home!

My truck was one of very few I seen in Id. w/o tow hooks. Ended up needing them the 2nd time out! I fabed my own brackets to go under the bumper and like them better anyway. Just thought it odd that the truck didn't have them.
