I keep hearing a lot of people complain about their overhead trip computers and how lousy they are. I must have gotten one of the few trucks where the thing actually works becuase even though I've only run 5 tanks of fuel through the truck, its been within . 2 mpg every time from what I've hand calculated. I only have about 2100 miles on the truck and had 18-037-04 done last week. I pulled a small 1500lb trailer on a 700 mile round trip this weekend and got @ 16mpg doing an average of about 65 mph. I think I would have done better if I didn't have that darn tailgate on the trailer acting as a wind dam. Anyway, just curious if I had the only truck with an accurate overhead trip computer?
