Everything Peter has been saying is that the new DD-SPRING- clutches are going to be very quiet compared to previous Dual Disc setups, and that mot of the other drawbacks have been resolved. Let you know real soon, got a truck sitting here waiting on one.
 
i have one on the way also cause single disc don't like third gear burnouts and launches... LOL... if you want to play hard go double disc for sure. i know this hands down.
 
definetly not... ... ... ... ... . i have destroyed two FE's with my sticks and both off them when i turned smarty to 90hp setting. LOL. still haven't made it to any of the higher settings. take it from me and step up to a double disc. it will be smoother and all around better for towing and hard 3rd gear launches. i would have went DD but they weren't dampened when i got either of my FE's.
