Here I am

I need a rebuildable 618 or 727 lockup transmission. Know where I can get one?

I'm tired of my 518.

I found mine through mypartshop.com . Search for a 1994 to 1996 auto with 360-6(Hollander's designation for our beloved Cummins). This site will give you a list of the three nearest salvage yards with the parts in stock. Ended up getting mine out of Kentucky for $1100 including shipping. Shop around though, I found prices as high as $2500(for a used trans??!!!). If you want a 727 with lockup you'll have to have it custom built as Chrysler never built one for the Cummins. Good luck.

Way back when... Bill & I put a 47RH into a 93 Dodge. You need a bellhousing & Starter from a 94 & newer. You have to move the crossmember back 1 1/2" Shorten the rear drive shaft [lengthen the front if 4x4] move the shift linkage bracket on the frame back about 3/4" & hook up a switch for the lock up converter & enjoy #ad

Make sure you get a trans from a 94 or 95 Diesel. You want the 47RH not the 47RE that comes in a 96 or newer.
