I need a stock G360 shifter, where to find?

Anyone have an old gearshift assembly (the pivot ball and shift lever/shaft) for the getrag? mine is all screwed up and im sick of the P. O. 's repair. thanks

IF and only IF I get ahold of a guy regarding his used Getrag, and IF I buy it, I have one I could sell you. Not pretty but it is functional.



Now, for your problem, what exactly are you trying to fix? I have a transmission top that has had bigger and bigger bolts stuffed into the holes on the side. I plan on Helicoilling (sp?) it and going with that.

I have a collar and shifter part in the garage, but it is broken. The tip broke off the shifter part. Collar should be good. I also have a shifter from a NV5600, left over from one of those BD short shift kits. But I dont know if it would work in the getrag.

Hello, Digging up an old thread here. Did the Getrag trans use only one type shifter ? If so i need one. Anyone have one lying around ? I picked up a truck with a getrag and it doesn't have a shifter. Thanks in advance.

g360 shifters

1989 to 1992 used a straight sick that threaded onto a male threaded stub that went down into the trans. 1993 used a bent stick that bolted onto a 2 bolt hole stub that went down into trans. The 93 setup is the better one.

Do you need the stub and the stick both ? Dodge did have some of the 93 parts left at the national depo last year. I can check their inventory tomorrow if you like.

mysteryman- Just so I better understand will the 1993 shifter work on the older model trucks ? My trans has a new or refurb top not sure if it is original or not. The truck is an 1989 model year. Thanks again
