I left Chicago yesterday for San Diego on vacation pulling my !3000lb. 5th
wheel. I have a 2004. 5 Dodge 3500 dually 48re 4. 10. About two hours out of
Chicago we exited to get fuel. As we left to get back on to the highway I im-
mediately became aware that my transmission was hung up in second. I was at 3100rpms and 45mph and it wouldn't shift. I exited the highway, pulled over and turned off the engine. I restarted the engine and took off to see if it was just a glich. This time there was no problem. A couple of hours later
we pulled off again and the same thing happened. Again I shut down, restarted and took off with no problem. As soon as we got into St. Louis I
contacted a Dodge dealer and got the rv to a park. I drove to Dodge and
dropped off the truck. There going to look at it this morning. It definitly sounds like something electronic. Has anyone experienced this problem. I've
been a member of TDR for a few years and it seems our members have better
luck finding the problem than do the dealers.
