Where is the best place to buy loaded calipers and new rotors? I think I read about loaded calipers from NAPA for $60/each. Am I right? That's sounds cheap! Can I get good rotors from NAPA, too? Please give me some ideas. I'd like some decent quality parts with a decent price. Thanks guys. Clay

Ive gotten loaded calipers form napa for previous automobiles, they worked fine and were very reasonable in price. As for your truck I dont know the price.

Loaded calipers are rebuilt calipers that come with pads already installed. The biggest problem is the pads usually are not the best ones available. I would rather spend the extra money on the pads and buy the unloaded calipers.

I've purchased several sets of rotors at local part stores and none of them have lasted more than 40,000 miles. The last rotors I bought from EBC brakes. They're slotted and dimpled and they seem to stop the truck real well. I've only put about 6,000 miles on them now so I can't tell you how they will do long term.

I buy the cheapest pads (the ones "loaded" in the callipers) as they are softer so they wear out sooner but the rotors last longer. Might be different if I did allot of heavy duty towing.
