Hello, i would like to have some more power. i have been running the e-z edge box with all the guages for the last 35,000 miles. I want to go to larger injectors. Now which one do you guys recomend. 275,DD1,DD2, ETC. I had read about different ones but am not sure which ones. 2001,6-sp,4x4. I really dont want to change clutch yet, my clutch is still fine. But i know i will some day. Thanks in advance to all.

I'm running a DD TTPM which is DD's version of the EZ. After putting DD2's in my stock clutch lasted about 300 miles. Some stock clutches will hold while others wont. Luckily I stashed money away for a South Bend clutch because I knew sooner or later I'd need one.

The next upgrade (if you tow)...

will cost more than it appears. A lot of the support systems will have to be upgraded, not just the clutch. With DD2's, you will need to address the fuel delivery system to the VP44, the exhaust (At least a straight through muffler), the intake (maybe one of those Air Buldog air dams fron Doug Hofeldt).

The fun factor will go up..... way up!!! Oo.

:) I'm running a set of 275's and a Edge Comp with no problems so far. Clutch is stock. 62,000 on the truck. Comp has been on for right at 1,000. Before that it was just an EZ with the 275. :D As long as you drive reasonable with the above set up, I think you will be fine. If your getting into it all the time then you will probably have some problems with a cluth. I know with a set of 275's that the warranty issue is less of a concern. Course with a Edge Comp, we are flirting with the DARK SIDE of life. Enjoy what every you get. :D :D
