I have the new clutch but I have

never replaced one before. What type of puller do I use to pull it off?

All help appreciated.

Most of the time the components will come off without a puller, there is a bolt that holds the friction plate on and the pulley and bearing are held in place by a snap ring as is the clutch coil. You will need a medium sized snap ring plier that opens. If you have to use a puller it has to be a setup where you don't push on the compressor shaft. I use a standard three jaw when I need help but I also have a cap that fits over the shft to transfer the force to the housing. There should be some shims with the clutch assy. put them all on the shaft when you put the plate on and measure the gap, then remove necessary shims to get correct gap. A lot of parts places will loan you the tools if you need them. Good luck. bg

It went exactly as you described. It was very helpful to know what to do before getting started.

Thanks for the info, B. G.
