Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) I Need To Pay Attention!!!!!!!!!

After putting on the fass system I noticed that the passenger intercooler boot looked as though it wasnt on all the way, it was coming off, so I got to looking at all the boots everyone of them:{ was loose? Is this a common thing to happen, Do I need to check them all the time ? Am I loosing :--) power/BOOST , because they were all loose I know that I have boost my truck isnt a daily driver just when i need it, I wonder if I have been loosing power gradually and not noticing it because I dont drive it everyday, So I hope that I will have more boost now, and no leaks does this make sense or am I off base

It's always good to check on them from time to time with all the vibrations going on with these diesel engines... ... it's not uncommon.
