Has anyone replaced their batteries and kept the old ones? If so, I need some to run my new portable wire feed welder.

I have a relatively new (3yrs. old?) RV/Marine deep cycle that's been sitting in my barn for over a year. I'll bring it to Scheid's if you want it. No idea if it's still good or not. :D No charge, heehee.

I'll take your boat anchor, Briar.

mdlowry, you can keep your old AAs, unless their rechargeable.

Hmmm - hope I can get Briars battery to recharge. Bring it anyway, Tom. I'll give it to the Interstate guy if it's junk.

I need more batteries guys, just in case some of them don't work. My new welder will run on two or three batteries in series.

Actually the welder will be used by my daughter, who's an artist. She wants to learn to weld and make stuff that us truck guys might like.

I ma putting Optimas in next week so i will have 2 batteries available. They only have 18k miles and the truck was new in October. Let me know if you want them, the shipping would be expensive though.
