Can someone please tell me what the I. O. D fuse stands for in a 2002 it blew and I have no idea what this fuse does.

It stands for Ignition Off Draw. It is the fuse that is pulled when the truck is in transport new and kills anything that can drain the battery when the ignition switch is off, such as, domelights, power receptacle, clock, timers, memory, etc. The manual says a blown IOD can be caused by a short in the alternator also.
