Does your truck even have a old style plug in flasher. The computers seem to do everything on newer vehicles. My 2015 would "dong" and put up a hey dummy message on the EVIC.

My 2021 F150 is a fake computer generated sound that is annoying loud with no way to turn it down.

I have not tried it, but if you leave it on and drive straight it may time out and turn itself off. The body controller is really running the turn signals so it should be capable of doing it.

Mine just shows a truck saying turn signal on in the dash screen if left on. I admit I do it on occasion.

Nothing in the owners manuel

I'm really sorry, I mixed it up with a ProMaster from a friend I just had hands on and he can adjust the loudness of the turn signal. There it's under driver configurable vehicle settings.
Not so with Ram-Ram I see.... to bad so sad.:(

@Turbo Terry, with a little bit of wiring, you could have a buzzer wired into the turn signal circuits. the feed could be pulled from the trailer turn signals and feed into the cab. Just a thought for you to consider. If you were closer,, I'd lend a hand to help! A piece of 2 conductor 18 ga wire, fuses and buzzers or loud relays and you're in business! You'd think that RAM would have something built in to adjust volume just like swapping out for louder turn signal relay back in the day!

Ok a swag from my Hickory Rocker.

Find a loud clicker, and for the wiring to avoid any main harness tampering etc run the power for it from the 7 way plug picking up L and R. Not saying you can't intercept the main harness just an optional route.

Nope, ain't done it so its a swag so let's hear from the TDR team if this is an automatic DON'T DO IT!

Many vehicles will flash as long are you hold a little pressure of the TI stock. My 2021 F-150 flashes 5-6 times with a simple light push, I will have to count it.

Big trucks don’t have them, in main.
One is much more conscious of use thereby.

Mine goes on to change a lane on the highway, it’s 1-2-3 and here I come. No ifs, ands, or BS.

Coming around a turn it’s making sure the trailer is following as planned. Watching mirrors is part of signal cancellation.

The law states that with a lane or road change the flasher stays ON until the vehicle is again lane-centered. It went on BEFORE any movement.

Use brackets action. One doesn’t forget thereby.

My uncle taught me that when I was a teenager many moons ago hauling hay in NV / CA.. Still abide by it... He'd always say 3 flashes and I'm coming over, I'm bigger than you. Most drivers are complete idiots, camped out speed matching by your trailer or rear drivers..., they see the flasher come on and make their level best to NOT let you in, wait 5 or 6 and you're stuck.

You are supposed to signal your intent to change lanes. Also keep flashing until lane change is complete. Per my Driver Education in High school. So I just press down lightly until my land change is complete.
