I saw a Digital Guage

Help me - somebody had a photo of a really cool single digital backlight guage - mounted - that had boost and egt? It was in one of the e-mails - but I can't seem to find it? Anybody remember this??????

You'll like them. The biggest PITA during installation is getting the 90 degree connector for the boost sensor through the firewall. Diesel Injection Service of Lubbock posts a set of installation instructions I did for them on their website if you need them. Good luck.

The worst part of the SPA guages is that the backlighting is WAY TOO BRIGHT. I used mine at night for the first time last night, and man are those suckers BRIGHT.

Looks like I'll be disassembling them to see about soldering a resister across the power feed to the backlight. The idea of using window tint on the face just doesn't work for me.

Other than that, I love 'em. On my triple-guage A-pillar pod, from top to bottom, I have: Fuel Pressure/Oil Temp, Trans Temp (US Gear OD), Rear Diff Temp, Boost, EGT.

I have installed 13 so far, the 90 connector for boost press needs to be taken apart then you can run it right through the firewall, its EASY

All the pictures I have seen have shown only 3 digits on the EGT side of the guage. Does it register anything over 1000 degrees?

M1A2, Yes it registers over 1000, I have seen 1080* on mine. I think the max it will register is 1699* but I am not sure. At any rate it will register meltdown in real-time feedback for you if needed.

I put in my SPA DG-111 boost/egt yesterday. I love it so far. Installation took less than three hours. The response of the guage is unbelievable. No more analog for me, I am glad I got rid of them and I have one guage now. As far as the backlight goes, it is bright but wasn't offensive at night for me.

M1A2, I believe I read that the EGT max reading is 1750 degrees F.
