I Smoked a Porsche Boxter

I smoked a kid wearing one of those goth, all black outfits going 20 in a 45mph zone riding a Vespa. He had 20 cars piled up behind him. He made the mistake of being in the right lane at the wrong time. I fogged him bad. You should have heard all the horns honking their approval from the cars behind him.

Was just thinking a bit after I read your post and it made me realize just how many close calls I've had out on the bike. I think my worst are the infamous vehicle right turn right in front of you. Have to love those!! Have also had stuff thrown at me, but fortunately no hits yet!

I came up on two cyclists riding side by side on an up-hill 2 lane country hyway when I was pulling a trailer. Traffic coming from the opposite direction. I slowed down to where I should have been in 2nd, but left her load up in 3rd. They heard me but wouldn't pull over onto the sholder or even go single file. When all the oncoming traffic finially passed I pulled out completely into the oncoming lane and MASHED the throttle when my tail pipe was even with them. They disappeared! The guy with me wouldn't stop laughing for the next 5 minutes.

The standard Boxster isn't very quick. A mid 14 sec. car in the 1/4 mi. , so they are quite a few CTDs that could beat it. The Boxster S is a few tenths quicker, but guys like KatDiesel would smoke them too. Now the 911s are another story.
