Been a gamer scince Pong ... yes Pong! I remember when it showed up at the corner pub back in the 70's. My dad used to bring me along as he was part owner and I remember that all I wanted to do is just get near that goofy looking console machine. Then came the Atari 2600 , coleco vision, sega , sega genisis, 3do, nes , snes, ps1 , ps2, game cube, Xbox , Xbox 360, Ps3, and of course the Tv smashing personal injury inducing Nintendo Wii.

PONG! TTTM are you old. You remember when your dad took you somewhere and you got to see it. Man, I was in my in my 20's when pong came out. But I'm a gamer too. Right now I'm on Gears of War.

My first video game was a pong that the only electronic stuff on the screen was the two paddles and the ball (a square actually). There were clear plastic sheets that you stuck to the tv screen for the playing field. I can't remember for sure but it had two or three games - tennis, racquetball, and I can't recall the other one. Then of course the Atari 2600 and after that I went into computers starting with the Vic-20 and moving up from there. I released my first commercial program in 83 which was a video game for the C-64. Right now I've got a playstation 2 because it was cheap and the games are really good. Can't bring myself to spend the $$ on the latest, greatest box. Mostly I play motorcycle games on it - Tourist Trophy, and MotoGP. Also some shoot em up games like SOCOM - good stress relievers.

Loved Tourist Trophy!!

Wow the Vic20 LOL and we had the convo about the comedore 64.

WD gears of war = Awesome. I finished casual , hardcore and have beat General Raam on Insabe but need to finish insane mode.

Awesome!! ... (still used when doing serious work on the toilet ),

I play video games when I get the chance. I'm pretty young, only 19, so I never really played the atari systems and stuff. I started on the 1st generation game boy and one of the first sega's. Now I'm onto the Xbox 360. Just finished up Call of Duty 3 and Gears of War. Man Gears of War on insane mode was a good stress reducer for sure. Video games sure are fun to play when I get the time to play them.

i play every so often. . i've got nes, snes, n64, gamecube, ps1, ps2. . on the playstations, all i have is gran turismo games. . game cube was kinda disappointing. . i got it for metroid, but i couldn't get use to the controls [got use to the controls for first person shooters on n64] and i didn't like the 1st person adaptation of the game. snes gets the most play though. . metroid on it, and super mario. . every so often i get in the mood to play one of them, and i will start and play it right through to the finish in one sitting

ps3 or x360 is next on the list [just need to see which has more games i like] or wii if the new mario game is something i will like [i didn't like all the mini games in mario sunshine on cube]

I play ps2 on a regular basis. Any racing/driving game will do, especially gt4. I love to fire up my nes that I got for xmas in 1987. RC pro-am and excitebike are my favs. I'll be picking up a gameboy advance when I do a turbo swap on my srt4, but it won't be for playing games. TurboXS has a fuel management system called DTEC that is controlled by a gba instead of some confusing computer program that requires me to buy a laptop.

Is Gears of War as unbelievably awesome as I imagine it? It's almost good enough for me to buy an XBox 360... almost. I'm holding out hope that PS3 will come out with games that look as good or better.

Dude, The PS3 battle over 360 is not a pretty one. Xbox games in HD. Sony has Blu-Ray which is another version of HD. I challeng ANYONE to find the difference side by side. The thing is that Blu ray can hold more data which equates to less "Loading". Sony cannot offer what XboxLive offers (I sure as hell don't mind paying 49 bucks for 13 months because the content , downloadable add ons , movies , tv shows , TV channels , arcade games , game guides , and more cannot be touched)

Sony really whizzed in the doghouse with the PS3 rushing to market just so they could buy a ticket and stand near the front of the line and hang with second gen gaming. They came close but with many sacrifices. I loved when PSM (Playstation Magazine) had on the front cover this month 360VsPs3. The article left out LOTS of information on the 360 just so they could make themselves look even in comparison. They did it tactfully too by leaving OUT key info about XboX and not saying that PS3 Does this instead. Nope just left out info that 360 does that PS3 CANT :-laf And the only two visa versas I can see are Built in High def movie playing capability and Bluetooth (Which again is half assed)

Anyways Gears ow war is flat out sick. The gore factor is great! But what really gets ya is the sound , visuals and gameplay overloading your senses. Rainbow 6 vegas is awesome looking and again a wicked great player. Oh yeah you also can play all of the games mentioned in Co-Op mode with any friend you have anywhere in the world ... LIVE ... . Sony ... ummm Mr Sony ... Thump thump is this thing on??? Anyhow In game awesome also is Test drive unlimited. Graphicly that game still wows me. Remember the Cut scene replays of gran-turismo3. Yeah well try GAMING in that kind of definition ... it's sick.

I'm on constantly XBox 360, playing Halo 2. I've allready got Halo 3 reserved, due out in Nov. !

Bannanamon25 is my gamertag. (I'm not a hard core gamer, and I'm not that good. I just play for fun)

I know, and it makes me sick. I'll give the PS3 a year to get some decent games. If they don't, I see a 360 in my future.

I will prolly stick with playstation. I hat x-box controlers, im a simple man... . LOL.

As far as being a gamer, while only 29, I have owned EVERY madden football game in existance. My friends and I bought one of those plastic WWF title belts back in 90 for the simple purpose of crowning a madden champ. We still have it, I am currently the most titled champ. . . LOL. . Ive held our stupid little belt 52 times. I plan on getting it back SOON... . LOL

The 360 remote is no different than a ps2 remote. Just waaayy more comfortable and natural (Your thumbs naturaly go to the sticks rather than looking like the Fonz hanging on to a set of handlebars :-laf
