Hey guys,

I hate to do it,but I think old blue is going to go up for sale soon. We are expecting our second child in August, and I need a larger cab for the 2 cars seats and stuff,so I think the ole cummins has got to go. I don't want to get rid of it,but I don't have the money or time to keep all these vehicles. I am currently looking at buying a 03 1500 SLT quad cab 2wd hemi from a local dealer, but I have not made up my mind yet. I want another diesel, but they are in the $20K plus range used for a 2wd still, and I am looking to get as new as I can withou breaking the bank. The 03 hemi is $16K with 38K miles on the clock, and it seems to be a well kept truck.

Do you guys think I will get any interest on a D250 club cab with 233K miles on it,and some nice aftermarket parts? There is no way I am trading it in. I would love to keep it,but that would make 4 vehicles for just me,and then my wifes car,and the trailer. Way too many vehicles for 2 drivers. Any input is welcome. You can even call me a dope for not getting another diesel. I know I will regret it someday, but right now in my life the diesel is probably having more damage done to it by sitting around then anything else. I have only put 11K miles on it since july of 2004. Thanks in advance.

I will try. I am not too good at the picture thing,I know I can get some digitals, but it is resizing, and posting them that is the problem.

If there's a problem with the resizing I can resize and post them for you

This truck would be exactly what I'm looking for... but I don't know what you'd ask for it... and your 1000 miles away. :( Again If the price is right... I'd try to get it here somehow.

get the diesel!!!!!

fuel mileage over time and depreciation will make that Hemi worth much less than that Cummins in just a few years!

I agree, the diesel will cost less over time than the gasser.

I traveled from MA to MI to get this truck from a forum member back in 2002,so travelling great distances for trucks isn't a big deal to me atleast. I have not figured out what I want to ask for it yet,and I am not even sure I want to buy the 1500 yet,but it is making more and more sense the more I think of it.

My 92 Cummins is a great truck, and I hate to see it go,but right now I think it is the best idea.

Yes Steve,I did. I am sorry I didn't let you know I got them. I must have had a brain fart. The white truck looks awesome, and I may yet go the route of doing a swap, but after driving a new truck it is hard to not want one.

I bought my wife a 06 magnum this past weekend,or should I say Chrysler credit and I did, had to sell her minivan and my Dodge 900 to fatten up the dn. pymnt. The old yellow monster snorted and puked at least a qt of oil pulling it self up on the buyers float, but I hated to see it go, not as much as I will learn to hate the upcoming payment book though, such is the price of progress. You can always get another 1st gen, when you consider selling the RE pickup PM me for counseling.

I actually am contemplating selling the RE/PU as well. I don't want to,but with the RX-7,the camper,my diesel,or the new 2003 hemi quad, and my wifes Subaru I think I have way too many cars/trucks. I think I will get more use out of the RX-7 than the RE/PU,but I love that truck so much, and it is rare, and fun to drive.

Hey 'Mazda,,,

Would you mind putting a post for this topic into the classified section of the board.

TDR doesn't want the individual forums to eventually become a place were buisiness/sales etc happens.

I'll leave the post here for now, but I'll have to lock/close this thread. Any of the guys who want to contact you can easily do so by PM or Email.

When you have an add in the classifieds let me know aned I'll come in here and put a "redirect" to the classified add for you...

thanks guys... !!!
