Should Pigs Be Genetically Altered To Provide Body Parts For Humans?

I stopped in to the office, at work, today and one of the secretaries told me her computer just came back from the shop. The tech told her that it had eleven different viruses infecting it! I won't be touching her for a while! LOL

Add another one.

Well, you can add another one to the list of those who got the Sircam virus. I must say, if it wasn't for Wowzy's post on the grisoft AVG program, I'd be more peeved right now. Thanks Wowzy. Second, below is the history I got from it. Maybe some of you computer types could help me figure out who started this thing. BTW, I have it isolated. And will analyze it when I get some time. I just got it so I haven't had a chance to look too hard at it. For those that don't have it, GET THAT AVG PROGRAM!!! Let me know if you guys have any ideas. Later.

What we are looking at here is a SMTP email header. It contains routing information for this particular email. I believe you have cathy. vnet.net to thank for your situation. I congratulate you for making her contact list. ;) Go here for a Sircam removal tool if you need it.

Before running this fix it would be good idea to read the description for Sircam because the fix deletes files. Here is the description.

Again?

Just got it again. This one goes by agenda may 3, 1999. But it's the exact same thing. Got it from the same person too. I wonder how long this is gonna keep going around?

As long as Microsoft Outlook exists. Keep those antivirus definitions updated whichever software you use. Oh, by the way, depending on what version of Norton antivirus you may use they are charging a subscription. I know it's only like $3. 00 a year or something but I think thats bull! AVG sounds better and better.

I have been getting about one per day that appears suspicious... from "unknown sender@unkno... ", subject is something about "need your advice".

I hate this!

Just a few comments about this virus business. I downloaded and installed AVG6. 0. No viruses found. The main reason that I have NEVER had a virus is that I don't use Microsoft Internet software, especially Outlook Express. That thing is the biggest virus magnet in the world. Have any of you that have had a virus problem been using anything else? It doesn't make sense to use that program if almost all the viruses target it. The other thing that I do is that I never open an e-mail attachment from someone I don't know or that I am not expecting. I receive and send many attachments because I am doing genealogy and I have several very large families in my family tree (Grandpa George had 21 kids and his parents had 14). As far as I can tell the best protection from viruses is quit using Outlook Express.
