I think im being scammed on my sale?

This is funny... I was just looking at a Toyota Land Cruiser today and the guy told me he had a full price offer from Germany (via email) and that the guy was going to send a cashiers check for like $2000 over the asking price to cover the shipping back to Germany. It sounded the same... the seller was suppossed to cash it and hand the "extra" money to the person who was picking up the vehicle... interesting...



Ebay is full of scam auctions where some idiot is selling a Harley or something for half of what it is worth. Then they want you to WesternUnion 2 or 3 grand to them and they'll even "overnight" the motorcycle to you from Germany or England or Greece. Yeah... . I was born at night, but not LAST night!!

SCAM! I get those funky e-mails about someone dying oversees and they are hunting someone to stand in as next of kin, even if you are not offering as a reward millions of dollars. All they are after is your personal info and before long you have empty bank accounts! I delete all of them.

My wifes' best friend fell victim to the canadian scam. She even told her story on B105 this past saturday at 7 AM. The scammer sent her a certified check for $6,000. 00 then had her western union the cash to Canada.



Only after she was sent another check from them did she think something was amiss. Anyways, she is out $6,000 dollars. I cannot believe that someone I know very, very well fell for this.
