So I dont know what it wrong with the dodge. I tried everything. I get a bunch of codes thrown at me, the only reoccurring codes are ECM Com error, and throttle position sensor high.

The truck starts up fine, but when i hit the throttle the engine response is delayed, and has no power. In gear, the truck is almost worthless.

I can flash the codes and drive it for a little bit before the problem comes back. Today, the truck last about 1/4 mile, hard to flash the codes about 12 times, and then got about 1/2 mile, reinistalled the bully dog, got 3 miles, flash the codes and then got to the dealership.

I authorized them to do their diagnostic check, no more. I dont know anything about electronics, really. I am ******, I got robbed last time I went there, They try to throw you curve balls every chance they get.

I would take it somewhere else, but I cant find any good shops that know about diesels.

ok, I am done, Going skiing and drinking this weekend, hopefully I will be able to put this problem out of my head.

I will let yall know what I find out.

Oh and when I do figure out what is going wrong, anyone want to help fix it??

What is the APPS. I checked and i have the cable-less throttle. I am getting good rail pressure,

I havent hit any puddles, but i killed the battery by getting snow in my remote jumper cable jack.

Well i am out.

If its the 04 in your signature, you have a throttle cable. It runs to the bell crank assembly mounted by the black plastic cover on the left front of the engine right in front of the intake horn. Under that cover is the APPS that is likely the root of your problem.

I looked in there, I guess I missed the cable when I was looking.
I am going to call dodge tomorrow. See if they found anything, if not, I am just going to pick it up on Thursday and check the APPS.

Thanks for the replies guys.

Well, I was able to get the dodge back today. I had a burnt out ground cable. Cost me 100 bucks. they only charged me for 1 hour of work instead of the 1. 6 it took.

I dont think I would have found that problem.

It is Linder Dodge, in New London, CT. I had a problem with them last time I was in there. They charged me double to swat 4 tires onto different rims, "because the big tires are hard to get on and off the rim"

But they were good this time.

My problems came back. The dealer said it was just a bad ground, but I guess not.

It worked for the first few times I took the truck out, and now it is back doing the same thing.

I will check the APPS sensor, but I dont get how that would be my problem if just clearing the codes fixes that problem?

Is there anything I should check before taking back into the dealer? I keep on getting the Throttle position sensor high code. Could the sensor itself be bad?

This time, I only authorized the diagnostic check. They called me today. 300 bucks to replace the intake temp sensor. That wouldnt have caused the problem. Looks like I am going to have a good time at the dealer today
