Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) I wanna straight pipe my Banks...

I have a Banks Monster exhaust and want to remove the muffler and straight pipe it. Any suggestions on where I can get a piece to eliminate the muffler that will fit properly? Stainless would be nice to match.

Come on guys? someone with a monster exhaust or a 4" exhaust must have eliminated the muffler at some point? Any help would be great!!

Hey, Phil, is that Monster Muffler about the same length as the extention pipe they use for the extended cab trucks. It's difficult to remember from insalling mine but I think they are close. One of those might work as a repacement. I'm not sure why you'd want to do thet though. I love the sound of mine but maybe it's to quiet for your tastes.

I have the Banks system and I did straight pipe it... . I called Banks and they sent me the exact piece of stainless to eliminate the muffler. I went to NAPA and purchased the 4" stainless band-clamps to apply this modification. It sounds so evil and looks outstanding.
