OK Guys,

I want to be at least 400 Hp~450 HP... ... I have pondered this and I'll list what I think I need but, I want your input as well... ..... and based on what you have..... what you think I'll get out of it.



1. Gauges... ... ... . Di Procol... ..... soon

2. K N air filter (don't start with me)lol... ... ..... got it... RE-0880

3. DTT mod transmission... ... . 89%

4. 4" exhaust... ... ... ... Rip Rooks

5. Fuel line kit (upgrade)

6. Power EDGE COMP... ... or... DD box... . or..... Blue Chip UFM

7. Piers HX40... ... . or ?

8. DD III's



I'd love to be able to keep HY35(cheaper that way) but I don't think I could get past 280-300 HP with it and still not melt down.

Tutor me... ... ..... Gentlemen... ... ... ... Thanks

You'll have your 440 to 450hp with that combo. If you go DDIII's + COMP you will have to change turbos. On my truck, DDIII's + COMP + PDR HX35 = 447hp.
 
Mild bomber here!!

On #5 you may want more lift pump than the standard Dodge componet. Otherwise, what you have listed should get you pretty close to where you want to go. JMHO

My truck made 447 HP & 977 ft/lbs with the stock HX-35, edge comp, DD 3's, etc. (read the sig. )but with some pretty high exhaust gas temps.

I wouldn't be doing my everyday driving on 5/5... ... ... . would I?... . More like 2/3 or 3/3 right?

So I'm not makin' 400+HP all the time AM I?... ..... MORE like 280-300HP Right?... ... ..... NEED 350HP min to spool up HX40 RIGHT? So I don't get serious lag right?... ... LAG=SLOW

What do ya think? ... ... ... . :--)

I really want to dyno my truck now to see where it stands. I have the HX-40, DD3's, DD UPM with Hot chip, 4" exhaust, South Bend Clutch and Psychotty. It sounds to me that I oughta be real close to that 500 hp mark with it on Level 5. :)



The HX-40 definitely has lag compared to the HX-35, but it sure keeps things cool!!! It probably wouldn't be bad on an automatic as it is on a stick, since you can keep boost up better.



That reminds me, I need to order some banjo bolts from Geno's...

With your small stock turbo..... your gonna have bigtim EGT issues... might wanna move it up on the list a lil bit. Might wanna consider putting injectors in after a turbo upgrade, with the COMP you can at least turn it down for EGT control.



On my truck I tend to drive around in 2/3 or 3/3. I put it on 4 and 5 when i see something to play with.

Don't get your hopes up too high... . I'm willing to bet 450 hp to 470hp is about it for you...
 
Kat, I'd still be happy even at that power level. After reading a few other topics, I'm not sure my Con OFE clutch would hold up to much more. :)

Thanks, Kat..... I notice you are not posting your sig???? That's why I don't post mine. . :D I figure I got 10g's in my truck from turbos -injectors-Ram Air-propane-NOS-ETC. not including all the R&D money!!!!:rolleyes: I figure a receipe is worth something???:p

The DD III's and Turbo go in @ the same time or Turbo then DD III's. Just waiting to hear from PDR... ..... I'm thinking HX35, but He's the man with the final say.

I have a question for you... ... . If you had to do it all over again what would be your straight line approach?

Mine did... .

1 gauges

2 PE Comp-- & filter upgrade (~300 hp)

3 DD3s (~375hp)

4 Rook 4" --

5 B1 (~450hp)



Yours will do a little better because of the ETC vs ETH



And when you want to get to 600 you'll still have the right turbo for the job.
