I currently have a Reese 15k, kwik slide hitch. I just don't like the hitch, period.



So, to avoid having my box look swiss cheese, does anyone know, or put a different hitch in Reese mounting rails?

What about one of the other Reese models? I replaced my 15K Reese with 20K Reese because the 20K has more fore/aft & side/side tilt. 20K Reese dropped right into the rails.

Second the B&W turnover with companion hitch.



When the hitch is out all I have left in the bed is a receiver hole. The reciver hole is flush with the bottom of the bed and the fit is great.



No complaints yet in 5k miles of towing my 5th wheel.
 
Although I also use the B&W Turnoverball with Companion 5th wheel hitch, in response to your initial question - what other hitches fit the Reese rails? I believe several of the air ride 5th wheel hitches can use the Reese mounting rails if you're interested in going that direction.

I don't like the latching mechanism on the Reese hitch. Besides the one I own, you can not put into the lowest position, because of VERY POOR workmanship.



I guess I like the slide bar latch of the RBW or Hijacker hitch. I have since found that the RBW will fit Reese rails. I would prefer a Hijacker, but they saw it will not fit Reese rails.

I have a Easy Rider Air Ride hitch for sale, I used one time for a 5er with the RBW 16K head on it. Excellent condition if you're interested. It's 1 1/2yrs old and was covered when it wasn't used. We sold our 5er & truck, so it sits in the garage covered. They do what they advertise.
 
I had a Reese 15K with slider and didn't like it either. I REALLY wanted a PullRite Superglide but did not want all the extra holes left when I removed the Reese rails. I got the Superglide anyway. I put carriage bolts in the old mounting holes. Since my bed had been done in Line-X, I used some spray-on bedliner to coat the carriage bolt heads before installing them in the old holes. Looks like they belonged there and the Superglide is outstanding.

No... Not with the SuperGlide. I had 8 holes from the old Reese rails to fill. The SuperGlide just has four 2" holes for the removable stud mounts and they are not located close to the old mounting holes.
