Hello all,

I am currently a "24-valver" (2001 to be exact), but I owed a 1997 12V a few years ago and now I want another for a rebuild/reconditioning project. After searching every on-line site with auto classified ads without any luck, I placed an ad in the TDR classifieds, so hopefully something will come through. However, if you have (or know someone that does) a vehicle the one listed below and are looking to sell it, let me know.

Vehicle sought:

-1997 Dodge Ram 2500 Regular Cab 4x4 SLT Laramie

-12V Cummins/auto

-2-tone (Medium red w/ Lt. Driftwood or Dark blue w/ Lt. Driftwood- both "center-break" scheme)

-Tan interior

-Loaded (or close to loaded)

-Less than 150,000 miles

-Must be in relatively good condition

Thanks all- Love this site!

Ryan:)

You want one with an automatic? I suprised you can't find one where you are at. Here in the Seattle area automatics are on every used car lot... very easy fo find.

You didn't put a city in your location under your name. People might have a better idea of helping out if we knew where you are.

... and could you be a little more specific? :D

Just kidding. It's great that you know exactly what you want. We'll keep our eyes open. Good luck

Opps... Location added.

Yeah, I'm a little specific;) , but I don't want to buy something unless it is exactly what I want or real close to it.

Thanks for keeping an eye out for me. I did stumble upon a 1997 2500 SLT Regular Cab 4x4, loaded, with 68,000 miles for $22,000 and while it is in real nice shape, I think the price is a little much considering the dealer wholesale is just over $14,000 and the trade in is only a little higher. What do you think?

Thanks

Ryan

rmcnamee:

There have been a few used Dodge 12 valve CTD's for sale

down here where I live but none exactly as you have

described. I will keep a "lookout" for you though.

I'm not too far from you.
