Mundgyver I need a lesson or question answered. :-laf :-laf :-laf

In your signature I see a couple of things I am not familiar with, I was hoping you could enlighten me. What is the RipRook, Roadrelay. I know what the Centermatics are but I am not familiar with the Smart Tire system.

Thanks, Rob

Anyone know the optimal RPM for mileage on a 24v? I run around 65 MPH and will be pulling a trailer constantly. Right now 65 MPH is about 1950 RPM on paper.

Spencer your mileage sounds decent to me,wait till spring ,when they change backto summer fuel it should go up a couple miles a gal, mine always does. John

RipRook is a 4 inch exhaust system from Rip at Source Automotive. Roadrelay is a Cummins Engine management monitor called a RoadRelay 4 that gives me all the codes and engine parameters in english and in real time. The Smart Tire is an on board tire monitoring system that gives me psi and temp in real time so I know the conditions of my tires. ;) :D

I have changed injectors from stock to RV275's, to BD 4's, to EDM 150's, to Jammer 5's, to jammer4's, and three different turbos, two different larger exhaust, and several different tire sizes 315's,305's, and 285's and after carefully grooming my engine for leaks and I always get between 15 and high 16's even if I drive 65 or I drive 80 not much change and I check by hand on every tank! I give up on my truck, Oh did I mention the synthetics in the rear end and transmission! Now I have put a downloader and a small set of matched injectos in a truck and see it get 23mpg consistantly? Why not me! Oh well it is fun to drive!

thanks fellows! has anyone tried those vortex, or tornado things where you put in your intake pipe that's supposed to spin the air goin' to the motor? they seem like a good idea but i was just wandering if they're to good to be true?
A friend of mine put one on is 2002 CTD. I got to see what happened when one of the blades broke of and then caused a meltdown on the grid heater. Not good.
