anyone help with this? i couldnt find the post i once read a long time ago,about some one drilling a bunch of large holes in the stock air box. this was suppose to let you get better air flow into the box and let out some of that sweet turbo whine. thanks . carl
 
You can drill large holes in the bottom of the airbox, that will help some. What will help the most is to remove the turbo silencer ring. It is in the intake side of the turbo and is held in with a large snapring that can be removed with a nimble set of hands and a couple screwdrivers.

I still have my ring in and with the AFE filter, good grief does it zing... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... :D That is more than enough for me, that is why the ring is still in. Along with that it sounds like the dash is being sucked through the firewall, another plusOo.
