I want to start a ND Chapter. Any Interested?

Last yr. when to a Dyno day at Mike's diesel repair , in I think Norland ND , you may want to give him a call to find some of those diesel so&so's .

I think that would be a plus for those of us that live in the middle of the state. You might want to give TDR member JJW_ND a pm or a jingle. He works at the ND Game &Fish. Seen him at the get together last year.

Hey Dave! I grew up in ND (Beulah, then Bismarck) and have two siblings at Minot State.



My Dad and his wife still live in Bismarck. They live up way north on State Street past Century ave in those houses just East off the hwy. Nice sized lots-- I wished I could live at my Dad's house; he's got a shop and all the stuff I don't have space or money for

Have'nt heard from JJW-ND for some time now. But hope he can chime in here if he knows whats planned.

I think a ND chapter would be a good idea. It will take a someone with alot of energy to get it and keep it going. We are far and few between up here. I am sure we could use Mike's Shop as a get together place or just a place to go in addition to other locations. Hopefully there are a dozen or more diesel enthusiest that would partake.



JohnE who lives near Mikes Shop has been in touch with Mike and sometime in February I would guess we will get something going. Once I hear of some dates I will get something posted.

Ok! That does it. I started this thread to get a feel for what you all might think. Sounds like game on! I have the paperwork at home to send to TDR and will get this ball rolling. I'll keep checking here and post as things happen. How does "North Dakota Dodge Diesel Owners" (ND3O) sound to you all for a name? I have to submit a name with the application. I thought ND3O was catchy and would cover all ND. You guys have me fired up now!

Ok, I took a leap and sent the paperwork into TDR in GA. When I hear something back I'll post and let you all know when and where we'll get together. I am way open to suggestions here so ND guys and gals jump in and let me know. Otherwise, I'll take the initiative and get the ball rolling. I named it North Dakota Dodge Diesel Owners Association (TDR). JJW had suggested a generic Dakota name but I thought I did not want to step on the individual who was trying to start a SD chapter so I opted not to. If this gets off the ground, our SD friends will be very warmly welcomed but please understand my reasoning behind the name.

Sounds good to me Dave. Do you have a warm place in mind for winter get togethers? In a couple years I plan to have a big building that would suffice, but thats only in plan stages now.

Hey Barbwire! Thanks for the response. Unless I hear an overwhelming cry for somewhere else, I was going to start us out here in Bismarck. Not sure when or where yet. I am going to to try to project it out one month so we can hopefully get maximum word to ND TDR members and to give them time to get ready or plan to be here. I don't want this to be "Dave's TDR Club" so I would love any input from you all. I've started to establish an agenda for the first meeting so those that come are going to shape the initial start of this chapter, so..... for all you lurkers out there, watch for more posts!
