I was amazed at Bully Dog Torque Dog results!

I put in the Bully Dog Torque Dog and could not believe the results! In addition to gobs of additional torque and hp, I picked up an indicated 5 mpg. I averaged 18. 3 mpg pulling my Vette on a car trailer. The best I did with empty trailer going down witghout the Torquedog was 14. 9 mpg. To say I'm satisfied could not begin to express how I feel about my 03 now! :-laf

If your MPG's are hand calculated, then thats a pretty good increase! Don't trust the overhead after you put a box on, they tend to lie alot

Is this a new box on the market? How much does it cost ? Thanks, Doc

The TORQUE DOG has been out for quite a while for the 555. They work real good. The only thing we have found is that they kind of "surge" around idle. They also make a TORQUE DOG for the 04. 5. Read about it @ www.bullydog.com

I get no surge around idle, but the responsiveness at low speed makes me be careful with the go-pedal. I was really disappointed in my fuel mileage and to some extent to the power Oo. untill I got the Bully Dog. I even doubted my wisdom in searching for a 555 instead of buying a 600. Now I feel REALLY good about my decision.

Now that I've done the pencil and paper division to check my overhead results, I wound up getting 15 mpg towing the Vette on the equipment trailer at 65 mph on US 27 including towns and construction delays. Not 19, but a whole heap better than I was getting - about 3mpg better! 90 hp aND 3 MPG IS WORTH $500 ANY DAY.
