Heck no. In hick town we only got dial up for now. I was rather surprised to see the results. That was on the older lap top. The newer computer doesn't seem to be fairing as well.



I have DSL scheduled for next month. I have already ordered it and was told I would have it next week. Then when I checked the status of the order on-line it has been delayed till next month.

Wow, I think I need to readjust our satellite a bit. I'm suprised at that connection with dial-up. We checked on the price of DSL. If I remember right it was about $80-100/month plus the hookup or whatever. Don't quote me. I think we'll stay with our wireless though.

Actually the DSL that I just signed up for is going to cost 29. 95 a month.

Try downloading TPC Optimizer. I did awhile back and it speeded this up pretty good. About 25% if I remember right.

You can with DSL.



If you have dial-up and want to receive incoming calls, we used to use Call Wave. www.callwave.com Worked great. Inernet answering machine of sorts.

I don't even think we can get DSL in our location. We just checked on the price in our region if I remember right, from our current provider.

Seems a little high for that antenna. Ours was $300. 00 I just uped our speed from 64k to 256k yesterday so we'll see how much diff. that makes. Just got home from work & they only bumped me up to 128k so I called & complained. Oh sorry mr. france we'll take care of it. Wonder if they thought I wouldn't check & charge me for tier 3 while only hooking me up to tier2?
