Just a story of inspiration. Yesterday I had the truck in because my pressure gauge read zero. They BS'ed me and said they measured it and it was to "spec" at 7-10 psi. So, I got the service manager to agree to measure it in front of me. If I was wrong, I would pay for the shop time. Well, they weren't even sure where to measure the pressure! Obviously, they never measured it yesterday. They figured it out and measured pre and post filter. Their gauge barely made it off the peg and he tried to tell me it was OK and that it actually read 5psi. I told them that they said 7-10 was the spec yesterday so they agreed to replace it. They BS'ed me all the way out the door, never admitting fault, but hey, I'm having the pump replaced under warranty. The mechanic was highly annoyed and wouldn't even look at me. HA! Thanks TDR, for your information.
