My 2004 Ram 2500 4x4 (70,000 miles) has started the "Shock Absorber Tap Dance" on these California freeways. I purchased a set of Edelbrock's IAS Performer series (33414 and 34414) that are supposedly for this truck, but haven't had time to install them yet. Upon close inspection, the oem shocks on the front are larger with a bigger shaft diameter than what I bought. The mounting hardware that came with the new shocks looks almosy flimsy compared to what is currently on the truck.
Is anyone out there in TDR-land using these particular shock absorbers on a 3rd Generation Ram 2500 CTD? If so, what's your assessment? The terse non-answer I got from Edelbrock doesn't exactly have me brimming over with confidence.
Getting nervous,
Dave
