I am trying to remove the sensor, I am using a 6 point socket and I'm having trouble with it slipping off, do I need a 12 point socket?

UPDATE:

I got the IAT removed, it was carbon covered. I cleaned it with carb cleaner. It looked like new, then reinstalled it. I also removed the M. A. P. sensor and sprayed it off, I don't think it looked to bad.

The truck runs better, it even sounds different. I still don't think it has all the power it is supposed to have though but it is definately better.

I unhooked the batteries at 6:30 this evening to reset the APPS. I am going to leave them unhooked until tomorrow evening.

Better but I'm going to keep looking.

Thanks!!!
