IAT Sensor?

Does anybody know the part number for the IAT sensor. The sensor I am reffering to is the one that sits on top of the factory air box cover that is held in place with two #20 torx screws. Any help would be very appreciated.

Try "5093 103AA". That's a combined MAP/IAT sensor... can someone confirm that's what we've got on the 03's? I seem to remember hearing that we do...

that part is made by vw/audi [at least they have their logo all over it on the underside... ] so you might find a cross reference from vw so i don't know who would be cheaper for that if you need to go to a dealer for it...

Does this sensor effect the high idle?



Mine only high idles when it's warm outside, lol.

Indeed that IAT sensor is how the ECM decides if high idle needs to be activated. If it were bad, it might prevent high idle and also might prevent the grid heaters from coming on for preheat.
