Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) IAT sensor

how many of you 12v ers has puled your IAT sensors?? done mine, it was clean as the day it was installed.

This sensor lets the ECM know if it should fire off the grid heaters or not... other than that it's kinda useless... . very much unlike the ISB, where it is essential to *proper* engine operation.

Now that I know what it is... yes I have pulled mine and it looks just perfect. I once thought it might be a problem I was having with my grids. Check the resistance and reinstalled it. Turned out to not be the problem.

Every IAT I've removed from a 12 valve had been clean. 24 valves seem to foul them, wonder what the difference is?
