ID Check for buying diesel additive

I went to Wal-Mart over the weekend to pick up some Diesel Kleen additive. Easiest place to find it. I went to check out and the lady asked for my ID. I was paying cash so I said what for. She needed to ID me to make sure I was over 18 to buy the additive. Apparntly if your under 18 you can't buy it. I asked why and she didn't know.



Someone told me its cause kids sniff things like this. I know some people sniff fumes but is this a law or a company directive? And why would you ever sniff diesel additive? So if your under 18 and drive a diesel your screwed. But yet they can buy fuel still and for 1/10 the cost of the additives.



What a joke. I will no longer buy additives at Wal-Mart. I'll go out of my way to get it at the trucker shop that DOESNT card me.

Do a search on it, this has been recently discussed. If I recall correctly, they were assuming it was because of druggies.

I bought beer at wally world a couple weeks ago. Never asked for any ID.

If they check ID for fuel cleaner I'll just leave it there.

Checking ID's is not an issue with me, it is a compliment!!!



I bet soon we will need to show ID's to buy Sudafed.

The meth problems are big around here.

Ya, I know. The cops stumbled onto a lab just a half mile from work. They were just lucky to find it. The person he was following had an outstanding warrant and the cop was following him to serve it. Came across it at that time.



My boss stumbled onto a mobile lab 2yrs ago. They rolled the truck out near my boss' brothers farm, into our corn field. One of the morons shot himself in the foot with a sawed off shotgun. Cops got those 2 also.

Next time I should buy it and open it up right there and sniff me some diesel kleen. Then I'll fall down and convulse. Should be a good scene.

Cummins Pilot- that's a good way to get a place to stay and a nice fine to pay. They take drug crap seriously around here. I'm in favor of eliminating the extorting crooked scum of humanity, though.



I havent been carded for DieselKleen yet, but a few have asked if I was 18, and I just said "uh, YEAH, just a few years ago. " and they let me go on.



As for Sudafed, I live on it and Benadryl anywhere east of Topeka- I'm allergic to anything green and growing. I buy two (24ct) boxes this week, and just to be safe, Mom gets two boxes next week. I have heard rumors of log books being kept for sudafed purchases. Dont like me buying so much decongestant? Then give me $2000 and you'll never have to see my ugly face around here again. But then you get into the issue of judges not getting their fair share, and the cops and lawyers.

I dont usually have a problem getting carded, because that means that the store actually cares who they sell the stuff to... Its not THAT hard to pull out your ID.

Sounds like the 9th district morons are at it again, or the Calif legislature is taking over America. Down here in northern mexico ca, we get carded at every credit purchase it has something to do with I. D. and credit theft . More and more businesses are going on line with the checks . I just wish the gov would follow suit and ck. the border as well as as merchants ck. for stolen I. D. s of course the have to ck. everyone if only the suspicious were cked. the old matra of politically correct discrimination card would be played and the lieyiers would swoop down in droves to right the oppressed. and stamp out evil . now don,t that make you feel warm and fuzzy.

Yesterday I got asked for ID at Wal-Mart in Great Bend,ks. for a gal. of Power Service, and they were $1. 00 a gal. higher than Flying J!! I'm 66, and gray haired, what there is left.

My Wal-Mart Never carded me when I bought it... LOLOL I was carded when I bought Equine Vaccine from the local feed store... I guess Heroin Addicts now inject the vaccine with the drug to make it last longer in between shots... go figure. I also bought a flight simulator program for the computer... I thought I was going to have to speak to the CIA and FBI!!!!!!!!!! They wanted to know why I was buying it and if I was secretly training for Terrorist activities... if I were, would I be dumb enough to admity it? LOLOLOL
