On the rear cover there should be a tag on one of the bolts around the 1:00 oclock position. The tag would say to use limited slip additive.



If the tag is not there then you need to get both drums off the ground. Then turn the pinion. If both drums turn the same way. Then try to hold one drum and see if you can stop one side from turning. If you can or the other side turns the oppsite way. It is most likey a open axle.





My self I would just drop the cover.

Bob, Yes it does. However, I have only ever had one out of six where it was still legible, if it was still there at all.

The tag should have LS right around the ratio on the tag. Mine have been vertical on one side or the other. My 93 says 3. 54 LS. Or is it LS 3. 54? EIther way, it should be on the tag. But Phillip's method works just as well, and you dont have to crawl under the thing and get dirt and grease in your eyes.

thanks dan I used the web site and tracked down the bom number. Both of the rear ends that I have for sale are one wheel wonders, but I have a cheap price posted on the classifieds so they should still sale. Thanks again for the help copterdoc
