Ideas for camping MD area

Want to take a nice camping trip with my 2 year old this year. Live in Northeast MD area. Don't want to travel more than say 4 hours a day for two days each way at the most. Thinking of Niagra falls or something. Any ideas from the group would be appreciated. We camp in a 28' Gulfstream TT. Nothing fancy but all the comforts of home.

Western NY is very nice. My wife is from East Aurora, NY (The Home of Fisher-Price Toys) http://www.niagara-usa.com/accommodations/camping.html This was just a quick search on google for Niagara Falls Camping. Have a great trip! BTW we usually go up via 15. about 6. 5-8 hrs (depends on traffic and how you drive :-laf )

The KOA in Niagra Falls is nice. Free transport to the falls and Maid of Mist.



Other idea, Cape Charles, VA. 500 camp sites on the Bay, charter fishing, boat rentals etc. Good place in the spring when the water gets to 65 degrees for fishing anyway.



Winchester VA, Candy Hill Camp Grounds. Nice clean place. RT50 in Winchester.
