Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Idel speed change

I just got a 95 turbo diesel 4x4 last week. With the A/C on and backing out of a tight parking space the Posi rear binds enough that I have to use the throttle to back up, no problem so far than I lift my foot to put it in drive and engine dies hoe do I turn the idle up on the p7100?

Here is a good link explaing how to find that pesky idle stop screw. I believe 850 rpm in gear with a/c on is the way to go... ... .

The screw is hard to get to. Idle speed is 750-800 with A/c on and in gear.

Here is a photo of the back of my '95 pump that shows the idle adjustment screw (J) and lock nut (K). You need a 10mm box end wrench. Loosen the lock nut. Use your left hand to pull the linkage a little to take the pressure off the adjustment screw. Then you should be able to turn the adjustment screw by hand.

you don't have to turn it much. If you have a gear wrench it makes it easier

For the differential problem you mite want to add Mopar limited slip friction modifier to the lubricant (aprox. 6 oz. )

Wow a pic. is worth a thousand words I have been trying to picture what I have been feeling but I know how to do it. Thanks. I didn't think there was a problem with the diff. but now I am wondering. I drive a truck so I only get home to the computer about once a week, that's why it take's a few day's to reply. Thanks again.
