Ok I know somewhere I read about "setting" your rpm's at a certain level.
What is it, how do you do it and where can I get one?
I hope someone knows what I am refering to.
By reading the post I gathered that basically you start iy up and then set the idle at 1300rpm or so to warm up the truck??
I live very close to the Highway so if I could get it warmed up faster it would help (a powerstroke ALWAYS seems to be right there by the on ramp as I get on but I ain't at operating temp yet so I just let him go by).
Also while waiting for the truck to reach 190 degrees or so... is taking it to 2000rpm too much of a load on a cold engine?
Thx
