94, 12V, 4000 RPM springs, torque plate (unknown type), filled up and ran 3/4 of the fuel out then from one start-stop to start engine started dying at idle, had to set idle speed up to 1100 and now the idle speed wanders between 900 and 1200 back and forth. The linkages are all free, it already has the linkage TSB done and the fuel filter is clean. It runs like a scalded dog under a load, just wont idle.

This truck belongs to a friend of mine who is a TDR member but not ready for the 'net.

If the linkage really isn't the problem (try disconnecting just to confirm-they get dry and stick WITH the update) I'd check the springs on the GSK. Make sure the retainers are in the right spot and nothing is out of place.

If your checking the springs try backing them off till there loose the go to the very first click then go one more and try that, you may have to go even one more but I doubt beyond that, if you do it will get too jumpy on the road.
