Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Idle problem

When I have the air on and come to a stop it will idle around 650 rpm if I turn the steering wheel it will drop below 500rpm. Thats only with the air on, with it off it's around 750rpm. Should I adjust the idle screw or go back in and adjust the GSK tighter/looser?. Rick

Your idle should be set to 750 . . in gear with the A/C on ... you need to bump it up ... .

What was the idle before installing the GSK? If it was fine with A/C, in gear (assuming auto), and even turning the steering wheel (which you should <b>not</b> do while standing still) then you need to up the spring tension a click each. If that is not nough then try the idle setting.

the idle was at 750 before the gsk it only happens with the ac on
