Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Idle speed

When coming to a stop, when I'm coasting with the clutch pedal depressed, the engine is idling at around 900rpm. When I slow down below 7mph or so, the engine idle then drops to around 750-800 and holds steady. Are these trucks designed to do this, or should I be looking for a problem?

Mine does this also. I've been told it is programmed to do that for steering and braking power.
